Research carried out by the ISEI - IVEI arise from three main sources:

•    In-depth analysis of any significant and problematic aspect that has appeared in various regional, national and international assessments that affect the Basque educational system.

•    The order of the Department of Education concerning relevant aspects to improve the system or a particular process or project affects an educational establishment.

•    The derivative of achievements related to European educational objectives that need to be implemented.
